TGT Science Teacher – Gd Goenka School, Namkum, Ranchi
The TGT Science Teacher will deliver curriculum‑aligned science lessons to classes IX and X at Gd Goenka School, located in Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The role involves preparing practical experiments, assessing student performance, and fostering a curiosity‑driven learning environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging science classes, covering physics, chemistry and biology as per the state board syllabus.
Design and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring safety standards and proper use of equipment.
Evaluate student work, maintain records of progress, and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school events related to science.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Science (M.Sc., M.A. or equivalent) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
CTET/TET preferred but not mandatory.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi, and ability to manage a diverse classroom.
Salary
Rs.24,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
