Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Zoology Teacher to join our faculty at Gurukul School in West Singhbhum, Jharkham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Zoology to students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Zoology to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress through regular tests, quizzes, and evaluations
- Provide individualized attention to students who require extra support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide discussions
- Attend workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills
Who Can Apply
To be considered for the PGT Zoology Teacher position at Gurukul School, you must have a post-graduate degree in Zoology or a related field from a recognized university. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is required, and TET/CTET certification is preferred. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
