Subject‑Specific Responsibilities
Deliver curriculum aligned with Jharkhand’s social science syllabus for classes VIII to X, emphasizing Indian polity, economics, and cultural diversity. Coordinate inter‑disciplinary projects linking geography, history, and economics to enhance contextual learning.
Assessment & Practical Work
Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, essays, and project presentations. Conduct field trips to nearby historical sites and local governance bodies, documenting observations for student reports. Use technology tools to create digital maps and timelines for student exploration.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in History, Geography, Economics, or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not required. Certification in social science pedagogy or related training is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably in Jharkhand. Proven track record of engaging students in social science and demonstrating innovative teaching methods.
Salary & Location
Full‑time position at Rajendra Vidyalaya, Ghutia, Jagannathpur., West Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Salary range Rs.22,000 – Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role offers a supportive environment for professional growth within a vibrant community.
