- Participate in curriculum planning meetings, contributing ideas for interdisciplinary projects that link Business Studies with subjects like Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
- Mentor and guide students in preparing for competitive exams such as UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET, and other national level tests that require strong Business Studies foundations.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, including business clubs, debates, and simulation workshops, fostering critical thinking and leadership skills.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop cross‑disciplinary modules that enhance analytical and quantitative skills across the school.
- Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on pedagogical best practices and industry trends.
- Actively participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings, and community outreach programs to promote the value of Business Studies education.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions, while TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable school is essential. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a passion for student growth, and a willingness to adapt to modern teaching methodologies.
