The teacher will also mentor students for district and state level competitions, fostering teamwork and discipline. The PGT Physical Education Teacher will actively participate in staff meetings, contribute ideas for extracurricular programs, and support the school’s annual sports day and cultural events.
Qualification and experience
Candidates must possess a post‑graduate degree in Physical Education such as a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference is given to those who have cleared TET or CTET, though it is not mandatory. A strong understanding of modern teaching methodologies, first‑aid certification and the ability to manage diverse student groups are essential. Experience in coaching specific sports, conducting fitness assessments and using digital tools for lesson planning will be considered an advantage.
