Responsibilities
The teacher will design and deliver curriculum aligned with state guidelines, incorporating current political events to enhance critical thinking. Assessment and feedback will be provided through tests, essays, and class discussions. Collaboration with other subject teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects is expected.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a post‑graduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for teaching roles, while TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory. The applicant should possess a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised school.
Experience
The role requires at least 2 years of classroom experience, preferably in a secondary school setting. Experience in developing interactive lesson plans and using technology for political education is an advantage.
Qualifications
A postgraduate qualification in Political Science is essential. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required, and TET/CTET certification is desirable. Knowledge of current political developments in Karnataka and India will support effective teaching.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.38,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives and professional development opportunities.
