As a PRT Art And Craft Teacher in Bengaluru, you will design engaging lessons that blend traditional and modern techniques. Your role includes planning hands-on projects for students, from clay modeling to fabric art, ensuring each activity aligns with curriculum standards. You will also mentor younger students, fostering their artistic confidence through guided experiments. Weekly craft workshops and collaborative projects with other teachers will keep your teaching dynamic and interactive. Keeping parent-teacher interactions lively, you’ll share student progress through creative showcases, like school exhibitions or digital portfolios. Maintaining a well-stocked craft lab and ensuring safety protocols for materials are followed is essential. Regularly assessing student work through creative assessments—like portfolios or presentations—will help track their growth in both technique and imagination.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a graduate background in Art And Craft. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. Your ability to inspire young minds through hands-on creativity is what matters most.
