Qualification and Experience
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed and minimum 2 years teaching experience in Art and Craft. TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Candidates must have a strong portfolio of classroom projects and hands‑on craft work.
Role Overview
The qualifications enable the teacher to design and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons that align with the school curriculum at National Public School Omr. With these credentials, the teacher will nurture creativity, fine motor skills and cultural appreciation among primary students.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Art and Craft sessions for PRT classes, preparing age‑appropriate materials and resources. Develop lesson plans that integrate local art forms and sustainable craft techniques. Assess student work, maintain progress records and communicate outcomes to parents. Organise exhibitions, craft fairs and intra‑school art competitions to showcase student talent. Ensure classroom safety, manage inventory of art supplies and maintain a clean, inspiring learning environment. Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and support school events.
Salary and Location
The position offers a salary of Rs.16,000 - Rs.30,000 per month. The role is based in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka at National Public School Omr.
