Core Duties
Teaching Art And Craft subjects to students from Class I to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate activities and assessments.
Designing and implementing creative projects that integrate local art traditions with modern tools and materials.
Assisting in extracurricular art clubs and school events, such as cultural fests and exhibitions.
Maintaining a well-stocked art lab with supplies, tools, and resources for student projects.
Participating in teacher training workshops to stay updated on best practices in visual arts education.
Qualification and Experience
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. A graduate degree in Art or related field is preferred.
Two years of teaching experience, particularly in Art And Craft, is essential.
TET/CTET certification is highly recommended but not mandatory for this position.
Compensation and Location
The PRT Art And Craft Teacher will receive a monthly salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.30,000. The role is based in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, with benefits including a supportive school environment and opportunities for professional growth in education.
