PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka
Role Summary
New Carmel School in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka is seeking an experienced PRT Computer Science Teacher who can deliver quality education to students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from 1st to 5th standard.
What You Will Do
- Teach Computer Science to students from 1st to 5th standard using interactive learning methods.
- Develop and implement activity-based learning plans for students.
- Conduct practical classroom activities, demonstrations, and storytelling sessions.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents through parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school activities and events.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning experience for students.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Engage with parents on student progress, academic goals, and school events.
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with specialization in Computer Science.
- Valid TET or CTET certification is not required but preferred.
- 2 years of experience in teaching Computer Science to primary students.
Good to Have
- M.Ed or M.A. in Computer Science or related field.
- NET or SET certification in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum for primary students.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts and curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of computer programming languages and software development.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 30,000 per month. The school also offers a range of benefits including medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and opportunities for professional development.
