Collaborate with the science department to refine teaching strategies and integrate modern educational tools. Maintain a well-organized lab space, ensuring safety standards are met while encouraging exploration. Participate in regular faculty meetings to discuss pedagogical approaches and share best practices. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, adapting teaching methods as needed. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific inquiry. Support extracurricular activities like science fairs, robotics clubs, and environmental awareness programs. Ensure compliance with school policies on discipline, attendance, and administrative procedures. Act as a mentor to junior teachers, sharing insights and guidance on effective science teaching techniques.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least a graduate-level qualification in science. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth. The PRT Science General Teacher position offers a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 to Rs.33,000 per month, along with a supportive work environment in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka.
