Global City International School invites a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join its vibrant Bengaluru Urban campus. This role focuses on engaging students with dynamic lessons in history, geography, and civics, fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness.
Develop engaging lesson plans aligning with Karnataka’s curriculum while incorporating interactive activities like field trips and debates. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments, ensuring compliance with school policies. Collaborate with the Social Science department to plan interdisciplinary projects and events, such as history exhibitions or geography workshops. Support the school’s holistic growth by mentoring students in extracurricular clubs like Model United Nations or debate teams. Ensure smooth classroom management, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for diverse student backgrounds. Actively participate in professional development workshops to refine teaching methods and subject expertise.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in Social Science. A graduate degree in Social Science or related fields is essential, though TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position.
