Core duties include:
Curriculum Development: Designing lesson plans and activities that align with Karnataka’s syllabus while incorporating modern teaching methods. This may involve adapting resources to suit diverse learning levels.

Classroom Instruction: Conducting daily classes in Social Science, ensuring clarity and depth in topics like Indian history, world geography, and contemporary political systems. Utilizing visual aids, case studies, and group work to enhance understanding.

Student Engagement: Encouraging active participation through quizzes, debates, and field trips to places like historical sites in Bengaluru or nearby Karnataka districts. Building a supportive learning environment where curiosity is nurtured.

Assessment and Feedback: Evaluating student performance through continuous and periodic assessments. Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.

Collaboration: Working with other teachers to integrate Social Science themes across subjects. Supporting the school’s extracurricular activities, such as model rallies, essay competitions, or cultural events that reflect social awareness.

Qualification and Experience:
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or an equivalent field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this TGT Social Science Teacher position at Harvest International School. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.

Applicants should have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning are essential. Experience in teaching students from diverse backgrounds will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Location:
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
