This role demands expertise in designing engaging lab activities aligned with Karnataka’s syllabus, ensuring students grasp physics, chemistry, and biology fundamentals effectively. Practical demonstrations and field trips to local science centers will be part of your daily responsibilities, fostering curiosity beyond textbooks.
You will develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including project-based learning, to bridge theory and real-world applications. Assessing students through experiments, quizzes, and project evaluations will be a key part of your role, ensuring continuous improvement in their understanding. Collaboration with the science faculty to refine curriculum delivery and resource optimization is essential.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Science is mandatory. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in a school environment, preferably in Science, is required. Your ability to simplify complex concepts while maintaining academic rigor will be crucial.
