Music Teacher Job in Ramanagara
Position for a full-time PRT Music Teacher at Maharishi Centre For Excellence Bangalore, Ramanagara. Minimum graduate degree required with 3 years of music teaching experience. Basic knowledge of Indian and Western music forms expected.
What you will do
Plan and deliver weekly music classes for primary students at Maharishi Centre For Excellence Bangalore.
Teach vocal and instrumental music to classes I to V with age-appropriate methods.
Organize school assembly performances and annual day cultural events.
Prepare students for inter-school music competitions in Ramanagara district.
Use simple percussion instruments like tabla and keyboard in lessons.
Conduct rhythmic exercises and basic note training for beginners.
Assess student progress through quarterly informal recitals.
Collaborate with art and dance teachers for combined cultural programs.
Maintain classroom instruments and inventory with minimal support.
What you need
Graduation in any discipline with minimum 3 years Music Teacher Job in Ramanagara experience.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
Basic proficiency in vocal and at least one instrument (keyboard/tabla/guitar).
Familiarity with Karnataka state school music syllabus preferred.
Willingness to participate in weekend rehearsals during events.
Skills that matter
Ability to engage young learners through interactive music sessions.
Knowledge of Indian classical, folk and light music for primary level.
Skill in teaching both vocal and instrumental basics simultaneously.
