PGT Economics Teacher – Rajeshwari National School, Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons for PGT classes, aligning with the school curriculum and state standards.
Create and evaluate assessments, assignments, and projects to gauge student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
Mentor students on academic and career pathways in economics, encouraging analytical thinking and real‑world application.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary activities and participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions, and school events.
Maintain classroom discipline, record attendance, and keep accurate academic records as per school policies.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
CTET/TET preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Location
Salary: Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month.
