PGT Mathematics Teacher Job in Vijayapura, Karnataka | School Recruitment
Sainik School | Bijpur seeks a dedicated PGT Mathematics Teacher to inspire and guide high school students in advanced mathematical concepts. Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve assessing student performance through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests. You will collaborate with the mathematics department to align curriculum with national education standards. Organizing extracurricular activities, such as math competitions or science fairs, will encourage holistic development. Staying updated on new teaching methodologies and educational trends will ensure relevance in the classroom.
Periodic responsibilities include attending departmental meetings to discuss curriculum improvements and student progress. You will participate in faculty training sessions to refine teaching techniques. Conducting parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and address concerns will build strong school-community ties.
A PGT Mathematics Teacher must hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics with at least two years of relevant teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching high school mathematics, particularly in Karnataka’s curriculum, is highly valued. While TET/CTET certifications are not mandatory, they will be considered favorably.
