Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field is mandatory for this Assistant Professor position. Candidates with a Ph.D. from a recognized Indian university or foreign institution are eligible to apply.
Post-doctoral research experience is preferred, especially in areas aligned with the department’s focus such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, or explainable AI. Such experience strengthens research leadership potential.
Candidates without a Ph.D. must have qualified UGC-NET with JRF in Computer Science & Applications or a relevant subject. NET-qualified candidates will be considered on a temporary basis until the Ph.D. is completed.
At least one year of teaching or industry experience in AI or machine learning is required. Experience in curriculum development, lab setup, or project mentorship will be given preference.
Fluency in English is essential for teaching and research. Knowledge of Hindi is beneficial for local outreach and engagement with students from Madhya Pradesh.
