Role Summary
Bhopal Girls School invites applications for the post of PGT Sociology Teacher in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. As a PGT Sociology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Sociology to students of Bhopal Girls School.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Sociology lessons to students of Bhopal Girls School.
2. Prepare and set assignments, projects, and assessments for students.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations.
4. Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
5. Develop and implement schemes of work.
6. Provide support and guidance to students outside of lessons.
7. Stay up to date with curriculum developments and changes.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver the curriculum.
9. Attend staff meetings and contribute to school development.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Sociology or related subject.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed or equivalent qualification.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a PGT Sociology Teacher.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with the school curriculum and requirements.
- Experience of teaching in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
