Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum for Classes 1 to 5. Use storytelling, games, and real-life examples to make numbers relatable for young minds in Bhopal. Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate different learning speeds and styles.
Assess student progress through informal checks rather than heavy testing. Give constructive feedback that encourages improvement without discouraging effort. Maintain a Mathematics corner in the classroom with visual aids and manipulatives for hands-on learning.
Collaborate with PRT team members to integrate Mathematics across subjects like EVS and Art. Organize small group activities to reinforce concepts like addition, shapes, and measurements. Prepare simple worksheets and digital aids to supplement textbook learning.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Prior experience of at least 2 years in teaching Mathematics to primary students is essential. Familiarity with local teaching methods preferred for better classroom engagement in Bhopal.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly in Hindi and English. Patience to repeat explanations without frustration for struggling learners. Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
