PGT Drawing Teacher Job in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh | School Recruitment
Arwachin India School For Holistic Learning invites a skilled PGT Drawing Teacher to join their creative arts faculty in Burhanpur. This role focuses on delivering high-quality drawing instruction, fostering artistic expression, and aligning with the school’s emphasis on holistic learning. Daily responsibilities include conducting structured drawing classes, guiding students through basic to advanced techniques, and maintaining a well-organized art studio. You will also prepare daily lesson plans, ensure students follow safety protocols while handling materials, and provide individual feedback to enhance their skills. Engaging students through hands-on projects and encouraging creativity in a supportive environment is key.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve assessing students’ progress through periodic evaluations, updating curriculum materials, and collaborating with other art teachers to integrate drawing into interdisciplinary projects. You will also participate in school events where drawing skills are showcased, such as exhibitions or cultural fairs. Keeping parents informed about student achievements through reports and parent-teacher meetings is also part of your role.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing workshops or guest lectures on contemporary drawing techniques, reviewing and updating the school’s art curriculum to reflect modern trends, and ensuring all drawing equipment and resources are well-maintained. You may also assist in planning school-wide art competitions or workshops to encourage participation.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in drawing. A strong background in visual arts, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly preferred for better placement opportunities.
