Ensure adherence to the CBSE/NCERT syllabus while adapting content to student learning needs.
Curriculum Support:
Collaborate with the physics department to update and refine teaching materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and lab manuals. Participate in curriculum review meetings to suggest improvements based on student performance trends. Assist in designing assessment tools like unit tests, projects, and practical exams.
Student Development:
Guide students in understanding advanced physics concepts through group discussions, doubt sessions, and personalized feedback. Encourage participation in science fairs, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to physics. Monitor student progress and provide constructive guidance for academic and career growth.
Faculty Collaboration:
Work closely with other science teachers to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities, such as physics-chemistry or physics-biology projects. Share best practices with colleagues through departmental meetings and workshops. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and development.
Administrative Tasks:
Attend school meetings to discuss physics-related policies and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with school policies on attendance, grading, and student discipline. Assist in organizing school events like science exhibitions or guest lectures by renowned physicists.
Qualification and Experience:
A postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge of physics up to the senior secondary level is essential. Two years of teaching experience in a similar role is preferred, particularly in a school environment. Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational technology is beneficial.
Compensation and Location:
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, along with additional allowances as per Bhartiyam Vidyapeeth’s policies.
