Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver phonics, storytelling, and rhymes-based English lessons to nursery and kindergarten students.
- Create a child-friendly learning environment through activity-based teaching methods.
- Use play-based learning approaches to develop basic communication skills in English.
- Encourage emotional development and social skills through group activities and classroom interactions.
- Develop and implement English language teaching materials and resources.
- Assess and record student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the English curriculum.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain effective communication with parents.
- Contribute to the school's English language teaching community by sharing ideas and best practices.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- NET or SET qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with English teaching methods for nursery and kindergarten students.
