Role Summary
Sardana International School seeks a full-time PGT Accountancy Teacher for our Dewas campus. As a specialist in Accountancy, you will be responsible for teaching students from Class 11 to 12 and assisting in curriculum development.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Department to design and implement engaging lessons, utilizing practical methods and tools to teach complex Accountancy concepts.
How You Will Teach
You will use a combination of lectures, discussions, and activities to teach Accountancy concepts, including financial statements, budgeting, and auditing. You will also use our school's Accountancy lab to conduct experiments and simulations, making complex concepts more accessible to students.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Accountancy concepts, including financial statements, budgeting, and auditing
- Use our school's Accountancy lab to conduct experiments and simulations
- Assist in curriculum development and review
- Mark and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
- Provide individual support to students struggling with Accountancy concepts
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive Accountancy program
- Participate in school-wide events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings and career fairs
- Develop and implement assessments to measure student learning
- Analyze and report on student performance data
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the Accountancy curriculum and pedagogy
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Accountancy or Commerce (M.Com)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- TET or CTET certification preferred

- Strong knowledge of Accountancy concepts and curriculum
- Experience in teaching Accountancy in a school setting
- Ability to design and implement engaging lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Familiarity with Accountancy software and technology
