Sardana International School in Dewas is looking for an experienced PGT Marathi Teacher to join its vibrant academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Marathi language instruction to students across Class 6 to 12, aligning with the school’s bilingual curriculum.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Marathi language classes, ensuring adherence to the school’s syllabus and curriculum standards. Develop interactive teaching methods that encourage critical thinking and fluency among students. Collaborate with the Marathi department to design supplementary materials, such as storybooks, grammar exercises, and cultural activities. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Participate in school events where Marathi is featured, such as festivals, competitions, or cultural programs, to promote the language in a fun and practical way.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in Marathi or a related field, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in teaching Marathi to students at the secondary level is highly valued.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Marathi at the secondary school level is essential. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools for language instruction is a plus. Knowledge of state-specific Marathi textbooks and examination patterns will be beneficial.
