Reporting and scope
The successful applicant will report to the Head of Science Department and collaborate closely with fellow PGTs and senior teachers to design interdisciplinary projects.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery
Prepare and deliver weekly physics lessons for classes 9 to 12, ensuring alignment with state educational standards and the school’s learning outcomes.
Laboratory instruction
Conduct practical sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts, maintain lab safety protocols, and manage laboratory equipment efficiently.
Assessment and feedback
Design formative and summative assessments, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students to track progress and identify learning gaps.
Student mentorship
Guide students in physics clubs, science fairs, and competitive examinations, offering personalized coaching and career advice.
Professional development
Stay updated with contemporary physics research, pedagogical techniques, and educational technology, sharing insights with colleagues during faculty meetings.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Physics or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions.
TET/CTET certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level.
Compensation and location
Full‑time position with monthly remuneration ranging from Rs.38,000 to Rs.55,000.
