Key Responsibilities

2. Teach foundational dance techniques through demonstrations, storytelling, and interactive drills.
3. Organize annual dance performances and cultural events at the Dewas school.
4. Use simple worksheets and flashcards to reinforce dance terminology and steps in Hindi and English.
5. Maintain classroom discipline with positive reinforcement and clear routines for 30-35 students.
6. Collaborate with PRT colleagues to integrate dance into theme-based learning weeks.
7. Provide individual attention during practice sessions to help shy or less confident students.
8. Communicate progress through informal notes and monthly parent-teacher interactions.
9. Assist in preparing props and costumes for school functions in the Dewas community.
Eligibility
Must Have
- Graduate degree from a recognized university
- Minimum 3 years of teaching or performing dance experience
- Fluency in Hindi and basic English for classroom instruction
- Ability to work full-time in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh
Good to Have
- Diploma or certification in dance education
- Experience with Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or folk dance forms
- Familiarity with primary school pedagogy and child psychology
Preferred Skills
- Strong rhythm sense and coordination for leading group sessions

- Basic knowledge of music software for lesson preparation
