Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus, covering geography, history, and civics. Use interactive teaching methods to make concepts relatable, especially for Class 1 to 3 students. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine lesson plans and assess student progress through practical assessments. Stay updated on educational trends and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Organize extracurricular activities like school fairs or cultural events to reinforce Social Science themes, such as local heritage or civic duties.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a post-graduate qualification in Social Science. Possession of TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Ensure familiarity with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for elementary education.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level, preferably in Social Science. Experience with diverse student backgrounds and ability to adapt teaching styles accordingly is highly valued. Familiarity with digital learning tools and classroom management techniques is beneficial.
