PRT Theatre Teacher Job in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh | School Recruitment
Sardana International School invites a passionate PRT Theatre Teacher to lead creative drama and performance-based learning in Dewas. This role demands expertise in developing and delivering engaging theatrical workshops, monologues, and ensemble exercises aligned with school curricula. The teacher must design age-appropriate scripts, stage directions, and improvisation drills while integrating regional theatre traditions like Bhavai or local folk forms where relevant.
Develop and conduct practical assessments such as student performances, scene studies, and character analysis. Collaborate with the arts faculty to integrate theatre into interdisciplinary projects like storytelling or historical reenactments. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior students in audition techniques, vocal projection, and stage presence, ensuring a holistic approach to performance arts.
Qualified candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Theatre Arts or Education. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Two years of experience in school-level theatre teaching, including curriculum planning and student evaluation, is essential. Practical experience in directing student productions or leading extracurricular theatre clubs will be highly valued.
