Collaborate with the school administration on timetable adjustments, exam scheduling, and resource allocation for the department. Represent the Business Studies department in inter-school academic forums and competitions. Prepare students for state-level and national-level business quiz events.

Ensure all classroom resources, digital content, and lab materials are available and functional for Business Studies practicals and case studies. Work with the IT team to integrate relevant business simulations and e-learning tools into daily teaching. Maintain records of teaching plans, assessment data, and student portfolios.
Organize annual departmental events such as Business Week, Entrepreneurship Fairs, and Model UN simulations. Invite local business owners and CA professionals to interact with students and share industry insights. Publish departmental newsletters highlighting student achievements in commerce-related competitions.
Provide career guidance to Class 12 students interested in commerce streams, BBA, or professional courses. Coordinate with alumni who have pursued business studies after school. Liaise with parents during PTMs to discuss subject choices and academic progress.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Business Studies or Commerce with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT in Business Studies. B.Ed degree is mandatory; D.El.Ed is not required for this post.
CTET or TET certification is preferred but not compulsory for this senior position. Prior experience in coaching students for CBSE Class 12 Business Studies board examinations is essential.
