About This Role
Miss Sill School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Economics Teacher to join our faculty. As a PGT Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to classes of students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. What You Will Do
1. Teach Economics to classes of students, using a range of teaching methods and resources
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
4. Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed of their child's progress
5. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects
7. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and teaching best practices
8. Participate in extracurricular activities and events that promote student engagement and well-being
Eligibility Criteria
1. Master's degree in Economics or related field
2. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
3. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
4. Strong knowledge of Economics and curriculum requirements
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: Rs.30,000 - Rs.60,000 per month
