Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the overall music curriculum strategy in line with school objectives.
- Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations of the music department.
- Organise concerts, cultural festivals and inter‑school competitions, handling logistics and stakeholder communication.
- Manage budgeting, procurement of instruments and maintenance of equipment.
- Liaise with parents, external artists and community partners to enhance the school’s musical outreach.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain records of student participation and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and school policies within the department.

- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
- Excellent organizational and event‑management skills.
- Good command of communication, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ability to foster a creative and inclusive environment for young learners.

Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree is essential, and candidates should possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in music administration or related fields. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred, with TET/CTET certification considered an advantage.
Salary
The remuneration package ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
