Job Overview
The PGT Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to classes 11 and 12, preparing lesson plans, and evaluating student performance. The teacher will also be expected to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons in Chemistry to classes 11 and 12
- Prepare and administer assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the school's policies
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and maintain discipline in the classroom
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Participate in staff development programs to improve teaching skills
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or a related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Teaching experience of at least 4 years, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with the curriculum and syllabus of the Madhya Pradesh Board
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.70,000 per month. Other benefits include:
