About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher to join the faculty at Gayatri Vidhya Mandir, a reputable School in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science subjects to students from Class 6 to 8.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students.
2. Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
3. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
4. Develop and implement Social Science curriculum for students.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
6. Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress.
7. Conduct extra-curricular activities to promote Social Science concepts.
8. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
9. Monitor and report any student concerns to the administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- TET certification (preferably CTET).
- 1 year of experience as a PRT Social Science Teacher in a School.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Social Science curriculum for Classes 6 to 8.
- Familiarity with teaching methods and techniques for Social Science subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
