Role Summary
As a senior PGT History Teacher at Sjs Public School Panna, you will be responsible for leading the History department and mentoring junior staff. Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement History curriculum for classes 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with Madhya Pradesh State Board requirements.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and workshops for students, and provide individual guidance to students.
- Prepare and administer History board exams, ensuring accurate and timely assessment of student performance.
- Collaborate with other History teachers to develop departmental plans and coordinate History activities.
- Mentor junior History teachers, providing guidance and support to enhance their teaching skills.
- Analyze History board exam results and develop strategies to improve student performance.
- Develop and maintain History departmental resources, including textbooks, study materials, and equipment.
- Participate in school-wide activities, such as parent-teacher associations and academic events.
- Represent the History department in school-level meetings and committees.
- Develop and implement History projects and research initiatives.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you should have a post-graduate degree in History (M.A.) or a related subject, with a B.Ed. and at least 5 years of teaching experience. A NET or SET qualification is preferred, but not essential.
