As a senior Mathematics department member, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Developing and implementing the Mathematics curriculum for classes 1 to 5
- Mentoring junior staff members to improve their teaching skills
- Conducting regular progress meetings with teachers to discuss student performance
- Analyzing board results and identifying areas for improvement
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of Mathematics with other subjects
- Developing and administering Mathematics assessments to evaluate student understanding
- Preparing and presenting reports to the school administration on Mathematics department progress
- Participating in school-wide events and activities to promote Mathematics learning
- Collaborating with parents to discuss student progress and address concerns
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and a B.Ed degree. A NET or SET qualification is preferred but not essential. You should have a strong passion for Mathematics and a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
