PGT Physics Teacher – Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Ratlam
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh is hiring a PGT Physics Teacher to join its full‑time faculty. The role involves delivering the Physics curriculum to senior secondary students and contributing to the overall academic environment of the school.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in accordance with the CBSE/State syllabus, using a mix of theory, demonstrations and practical experiments. Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments and term examinations, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
Daily Duties
Prepare lesson plans and teaching aids for each class, conduct laboratory sessions, and supervise students during practical work. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student progress, and communicate regularly with parents about academic concerns.
Weekly Activities
Collaborate with fellow teachers in department meetings to discuss curriculum updates, share best practices and align teaching strategies. Participate in school‑wide events such as science fairs, inter‑school competitions and extracurricular clubs related to Physics.
Periodic Responsibilities
Design and evaluate unit tests and annual examinations, and contribute to the preparation of school assessment reports. Undertake periodic professional development programmes and stay updated with the latest developments in Physics education.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in Physics or related discipline, with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET examinations.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, demonstrating effective classroom management and a track record of improving student outcomes in Physics.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
