Job Description
PRT Art and Craft Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Art and Craft subjects to students in classes I to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate learning through hands-on activities. Design and implement creative projects that align with curriculum guidelines while fostering imagination and technical skills.
Prepare and maintain well-organized art materials and workspaces to support hands-on learning. Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to adapt lesson plans for diverse student needs.
Assist students in developing fine motor skills, color theory, and basic craft techniques through practical demonstrations and guided practice.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) guidelines. Experience in teaching Art and Craft to elementary students is preferred.
Ensure eligibility for TET/CTET certification, though not mandatory for this role. Must be proficient in English and Hindi for effective communication with students and parents.
