About This Role
As a senior-level Accountant at Shri Guruji Public School in Budni, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, you will play a pivotal role in driving the school's financial strategy and ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to achieve the school's strategic objectives.
2. Oversee the school's financial administration, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.
3. Manage the school's assets, including fixed assets, inventory, and other resources.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
5. Provide financial analysis and advice to the Principal and other senior leaders.
6. Develop and manage financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
7. Supervise and train junior accountants and administrative staff.
8. Collaborate with the school's management team to develop and implement policies and procedures.
9. Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the security and integrity of the school's financial records.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a school setting. A postgraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable. You should also have a strong understanding of accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
