About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Clerk to lead our administrative team at a rural school in Budni, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. As a senior-level Clerk, you will report directly to the School Head and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school. This is a key leadership role that requires strong administrative skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a senior Clerk, your duties will include:
- Managing the school's administrative staff and ensuring efficient operations
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior
- Coordinating with parents, local authorities, and community leaders to build strong relationships
- Supervising the school's finance and accounts, including budgeting and expenditure tracking
- Implementing and maintaining school policies and procedures
- Liaising with government agencies and educational bodies to ensure compliance with regulations
- Providing administrative support to the School Head and other senior staff members
- Maintaining the school's infrastructure and facilities, including maintenance and repairs
- Organizing school events and activities, such as exams, parent-teacher meetings, and sports events
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve school performance and efficiency
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A postgraduate degree (M.A., M.Sc, MBA, M.Ed, or equivalent)
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar administrative role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and community leaders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
- Proficiency in using administrative software and technology, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Familiarity with the State Board of Madhya Pradesh curriculum and regulations
