What You Will Do
- Teach Economics to classes 11 and 12, developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Engage with parents through regular parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on student performance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary projects that integrate economics with other subjects.
- Develop and implement extra-curricular activities that promote economics awareness and skills among students.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require additional help outside of regular class hours.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and developments in the field of economics to ensure that our students receive the best possible education.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Economics or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Economics is required, with a strong track record of achieving academic success. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching Economics in a school setting.
