Monitor student progress through regular formative assessments and maintain detailed portfolios for each child. Conduct parent-teacher meetings twice a term to discuss social science learning outcomes and suggest home-based reinforcement. Provide targeted support to students struggling with basic map-reading or timeline sequencing.
Collaborate with the English and EVS teams to design cross-curricular projects such as ‘Our Village Then and Now’ or ‘Festivals of Umaria and Their Stories’. Assist in preparing students for inter-school social science quizzes and heritage walks organized by Robertson Convent Higher Secondary School.
Lead a small group of PRT teachers by modeling effective Social Science teaching strategies and sharing resources developed in-house. Organize monthly department meetings to review lesson plans and share best practices specific to Madhya Pradesh’s primary curriculum.
Contribute to the annual school magazine by curating student articles, drawings, and project outputs in Social Science. Support the vice-principal during CBSE inspection visits by showcasing student portfolios and classroom artifacts.
Who Can Apply
