Euro School in Mumbai City is seeking an experienced PGT Business Studies Teacher to join their dynamic curriculum team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Business Studies education aligned with CBSE and state board syllabi, ensuring students grasp core concepts like financial accounting, marketing, and management principles. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds while adapting teaching methods to meet Euro School’s progressive academic standards.
Reporting to the Head of Department for Business Studies, this position involves direct oversight of classroom instruction, student progress tracking, and collaboration with subject specialists.
Core Duties
Teaching Business Studies at the senior secondary level, covering topics such as entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and digital business strategies. Preparing engaging lesson plans, syllabus-based assessments, and practical projects to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
Developing and maintaining curriculum resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and multimedia presentations tailored to Euro School’s innovative teaching approach. Assisting in organizing school events like career expos, business simulations, and guest lectures by industry experts.
Collaborating with Euro School’s faculty to integrate real-world business scenarios, case studies, and industry visits into the curriculum. Ensuring compliance with CBSE guidelines while fostering critical thinking and ethical business practices among students.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Business Studies or a related subject is required. Proficiency in TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Location
This full-time position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs.37,000 to Rs.60,000, along with additional benefits. The role is based in Mumbai City, providing a vibrant urban setting with access to top educational resources and networking opportunities.
