Lokmanya Tilak International School invites a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join its vibrant dance program in Mumbai City. Daily responsibilities include conducting morning and afternoon dance sessions, preparing engaging lesson plans that incorporate Bollywood, classical, and contemporary dance forms. Daily classroom management ensures students follow safety protocols during movements and choreography practice. Teaching basic dance etiquette and encouraging participation in group activities are key daily tasks.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve collaborating with the principal to align dance curriculum with school policies. Organizing inter-house dance competitions and cultural fests to showcase student talent is part of ongoing duties. Regular feedback sessions with students help track progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
Periodic responsibilities include attending weekly parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and involvement in dance activities. Conducting end-of-term evaluations to assess students’ growth in dance skills and preparing annual reports for the dance program are important tasks.
For this PRT Dance Teacher position at Lokmanya Tilak International School, a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Two years of experience in dance teaching or related arts is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
