Teach music subjects to students from Class I to XII, ensuring age-appropriate and interactive lesson plans. Conduct group and individual music sessions, including vocal, instrumental, and music theory classes. Collaborate with Euro School’s curriculum team to refine and implement music education initiatives that align with national and international benchmarks.
Prepare and deliver engaging music lessons that incorporate modern and traditional Indian instruments, songs, and performances. Maintain a well-organized music room, including instruments, recording equipment, and teaching aids. Participate in school events, performances, and extracurricular activities to promote music as a key part of holistic learning.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a strong foundation in music theory and practice. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting or with experience in music education.
Excellent communication skills in English and Marathi, with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrate creativity, patience, and a deep passion for music and education. Familiarity with educational technology tools for music teaching is a plus.
Compensation
The PRT Music Teacher position at Euro School offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.21,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
