About This Role
Namrata Acharya English School integrates digital tools like smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school LMS to make every lesson more engaging. The PRT Music Teacher will plan and deliver interactive music lessons for classes 1 to 5 using these platforms. You will also help students record practice sessions and share audio feedback through the LMS.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will combine live demonstrations on smart boards with worksheets shared on Google Classroom. Students will use tablets for rhythm exercises and singing practice, with progress tracked in the LMS. Blended learning will include pre-class audio clips for listening practice and post-class quizzes to reinforce concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with the school’s digital music curriculum and share them on Google Classroom.
Conduct live music sessions on smart boards, using embedded audio and video clips for demonstrations.
Create and upload worksheets, practice tracks, and assessment quizzes on the school LMS.
Organize monthly virtual parent-teacher meetings to share student progress reports and audio samples.
Train students to use digital tuners and metronomes available on tablets during class.
Run inter-house music competitions using online registration and voting through the LMS.
Collaborate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot basic tech issues during music periods.
Submit attendance and activity reports through the school’s digital platform every Friday.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Music from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience in primary music education.
Familiarity with smart board operations and basic troubleshooting.
Experience using Google Classroom, LMS, and audio recording tools.
Basic knowledge of music theory and practical pedagogy for age groups 6–11.
