PRT Physical Education Teacher Job in Mumbai City, Maharastra | School Recruitment at B.d Somani International School | Navi Mumbai. Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education lessons that align with the school curriculum and national standards.
Organise inter‑school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities, ensuring safe and inclusive participation.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress in physical activities.
Collaborate with co‑ordinators and parents to promote healthy lifestyles and address individual student needs.
Ensure all sports equipment and facilities are kept in good condition and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Education teacher in a school setting.
Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification; TET or CTET certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness regimes, and age‑appropriate training methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students and work with faculty and parents.
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt lessons to diverse learning styles.
Compensation
Rs.18,000 – Rs.32,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
