Sports Teacher Job in Mumbai City, Maharastra | School Vacancy
Responsibilities
The incumbent will manage the school’s sports facilities, schedule inter‑class and inter‑school tournaments, and oversee equipment procurement and maintenance. Coordination with physical education staff to ensure safe conduct of activities, preparation of annual sports calendar and liaison with external clubs and associations form key parts of the role. Regular reporting on participation, budget utilization and event outcomes to the school administration is required.
Key Duties
- Supervise the day‑to‑day operations of the playgrounds, gymnasium and outdoor courts.
- Organize and monitor sports events, ensuring compliance with safety standards and school policies.
- Maintain inventory of sports gear, arrange for repairs or replacements, and keep accurate records.
- Conduct risk assessments, first‑aid readiness checks and ensure emergency protocols are in place.
- Support the development of sports programs that align with Billong High International School | Mulund’s holistic education vision.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. Candidates should have cleared TET/CTET examinations, although this is not mandatory. Minimum two years of experience in sports administration or related coordination roles is essential.
Experience
Applicants must have at least 2 years of practical experience handling sports facilities, event management or related administrative functions within a school setting.
Salary
Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
