Mentor newly joined PRT English Teachers in Heritage International School, conducting classroom observations and feedback sessions twice a month. Guide junior staff on interactive teaching techniques suitable for multilingual learners in Nagpur’s diverse student community. Organise monthly department meetings to share best practices and resource updates.
Monitor monthly progress of 150+ students across three sections, identifying gaps in phonics and grammar comprehension. Prepare consolidated reports for the Principal highlighting trends in board-style reading and writing tasks. Recommend interventions like phonics workshops or library-based reading programs to improve language proficiency.
Organise inter-house elocution contests and story-telling sessions every term to build public speaking confidence. Coordinate with the IT team to introduce digital storytelling tools in English classes at Heritage International School. Prepare students for inter-school literary fests held in Vidarbha region annually.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in English with minimum 55% marks from a UGC-recognised university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a NCTE-approved institution with two years of full-time English teaching experience in a school setting. CTET or TET certificate preferred, though not mandatory for this role.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for delivering lessons and writing reports. Familiarity with Maharashtra State Board textbooks and CCE guidelines is an advantage. Prior experience in curriculum planning or assessment design will be considered during selection.
