Your Students

As a TGT Physics Teacher, you will need to be patient, understanding, and adaptable in your approach. You will be teaching Physics to students of different age groups and abilities, and you will need to be able to differentiate your instruction to cater to their individual needs. You will also need to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons to students of different age groups and abilities, using a range of teaching methods and materials.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the individual needs of students, including those with special needs.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum programs.
- Provide support to students who require extra help or guidance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is also required. While a TET or CTET qualification is not essential, it is preferred. You will also need to have at least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
